Leticia Lyogello

Leticia Lyogello has worked with TWESA since its beginning in 1997 – she’s possibly our longest serving staff member! Mama Lyogello, as she is known to her colleagues, is trained in community development and has worked in TWESA’s sanitation and hygiene teams. Her main responsibilities were to work closely with the community in educating them on good sanitation and hygiene standards and practices.

Mama Lyogello has worked with TWESA in both the local Tanzanian communities and refugee communities – in Kasulu, Kibondo and Ngara districts, as well as in Muyovozi, Nduta, Nyarugusu and Mtabila refugee camps.

Mama Lyogello retired in December 2015 and will enjoy her retirement with family and friends in her home district of Shinyanga.
